Fall is here and we are open to the public every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1pm-4pm through October 13th. We have been updating our displays, so stop by to see what we have been working on! We will continue to be here on Friday mornings, 9am-noon, when our crew of volunteers is busy working on the collection; we're always happy to take a break and show you around. We are also open by appointment, just call or email to set something up.
Our next event is an Open House on Sunday from 1 to 4pm:
50 years after Jackie Watts’s big idea, the Lincolnville Historical Society is celebrating her achievement. The LHS will be holding an Open House for the town this coming Sunday, Oct. 12, 1-4 p.m. at 33 Beach Road.
There will be special displays, the live music of Ukes Rock, plenty of donut holes and Sewall Orchard cider, some games for children, a find-your-house project in the works, and of course, a tour of the place, upstairs and down, the home Jackie dreamed of for the collection she started. Please join us!
